Quietly located at the edge of the Sauerland, on a sunny mountain slope, is our cozy nature house Alm. From the terrace you can enjoy the view of the valley of Husen, partially covered you sit comfortably after a day out in nature. Until late in the evening this is an ideal place for sunset. From the kitchen, sitting area, dining area and bedroom you have a beautiful view. The interior of the cottage is light and natural, with harmoniously matched colors that create a peaceful atmosphere. It was completely renovated in 2023. The modern kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven and dishwasher. The living room offers a cozy sitting area and dining area. The bedroom is large and has a spacious bed with raised entry. The bathroom has a luxurious shower. The second bedroom has a trundle bed and a folding bed. The park is car-free and in the restaurant Tom serves delicious meals. This nature house is small and quietly located in a vast nature reserve. In the area are many forests in a rolling landscape. An ideal environment for hiking and cycling. There are many marked hiking trails such as in Blankenrode and Hebram-Wald. Around Husen you can make beautiful bike tours. The bicycle routes are well passable, especially with E-bikes. Two kilometers away is a beautiful cozy and small natural pool with water from the river Altenau. The bath is heated by the limestone plateau. In Kloster Dalheim you can have a delicious coffee. Paderborn is a 20-minute drive away; it is a university town with a pleasant atmosphere. A visit to Warburg with beautiful half-timbered houses or Kassel with its beautiful parks, fountains and castles should not be missed. Lake Diemel is a small but the most natural reservoir in the Sauerland. Externsteine with special rock formations is also a must. In short, a rich environment where there is plenty to experience.
