Recreation park Strandheem with many facilities is nearby as are the many forests. A day trip to one of the Wadden Islands is easy to do. Drachten itself has much to offer. The B & B is centrally located to Drachten, Groningen, Leeuwarden and Heerenveen (Thialf) The house is spacious with lots of privacy and attention to detail, has a luxurious look, a complete kitchen, a cozy living room and a lovely bedroom. In the relaxing atmosphere of the large private terrace with veranda and garden you can completely unwind! Convince yourself and come and enjoy the B&B!
Nature and surroundings
The B&B is a perfect base for walking, cycling and recreation. National Park De Alde Feanen is a beautiful walking area not far from the B&B. Recreation park Strandheem with many facilities, including open swimming water, a beach, sunbathing areas and restaurants, is nearby and can be reached both by bicycle and by car. In addition, there are several forests in the area, including Bakkeveen, Oosterwolde and Olterterp, where you can enjoy walking and cycling. For people who like to cycle outside the forests, there are many beautiful routes through nature. A map with routes is available.A day trip to one of the Wadden Islands is easy to do, this is definitely recommended.Drachten itself has much to offer. There is a car-free center, a museum and a beautiful subtropical swimming paradise, a theater, cinema, etc. There are numerous restaurants and terraces where it is good to linger.
