The nature house is a lovely wooden off-grid house with modern amenities in the middle of the forests of the Belgian Kempen. Upon arrival, the beds are made and you can start enjoying right away. Grab a chair and dream away on the covered veranda or get right into vacation mode in our wood-fired sauna (which we can heat up beforehand). The living room has a full kitchen, sofa bed, wood stove and dining area. On this ground floor you will also find a shower and (compost) toilet. The sleeping loft has a double and a single bed. From the mezzanine you can look right into the living room and from the Koekoek window you can see into the forest garden. Dogs are welcome.
Nature and surroundings
The Belgian Kempen have an extensive network of hiking trails and mountain bike paths. Furthermore, Bobbejaanland is nearby (15 minutes by car) and you can also canoe on the river Nete, store in Turnhout and eat out in the area. Our favorite are the ice cream parlors in the neighborhood, which are open in summer and winter, and where you can also buy hot waffles. Herentals: A chic place with beautiful houses and a fine shopping street with nice cafes and restaurants. Kasterlee: Grab a pint on the square and eat a bite at one of the many restaurants Turnhout: A great place with a good center where both shoppers and those who love culture can have a good time.
