Pure freedom on a Houseboat with sauna, fully equipped, 100% ecological/self-sufficient for the ultimate vacation feeling!!! Luxury, comfort and respect for nature come together. We welcome you on our sustainable Surla houseboat to create beautiful memories with this unique experience. The space With sauna and hot outdoor shower. Spacious living room with sofa, dining table, TV, pellet stove, view of the front terrace with outdoor chairs and bbq. The open kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, fridge, oven, dishwasher, kettle and Nespresso machine. The bathroom has a shower, sink and a (durable dry) toilet. There are 3 bedrooms with double hotel beds. On the aft deck is the access to a large roof terrace with lounge. In winter, you are lying in the harbor of Monnickendam. The rest of the year, you are completely self-sufficient on the Gouwzee (provided that the weather is nice all year round. You will be provided with a sloop to explore the area.
Nature and surroundings
Visit historic peninsula Marken with its famous lighthouse and the fishing village of Volendam are just a stone's throw away. Thousands of years ago, people transformed marshland into meadows with the natural Waterland full of waving reeds, ditches and picturesque villages as the end result. A paradise for (water) birds, Monnickendam is right in the middle of it. You can make beautiful trips, walking, cycling, with your sloop or by canoe to the nature reserves in the area. The center of Monnickendam with its cozy terraces and good restaurants is a 5-minute walk from the harbor. Amsterdam is easy to reach, within 20 minutes you are in the center, also by public transport. Visit Amsterdam and sail through the canals or take a walk through the beautiful city. The harbor has a cozy beach bar where you can rent water sports equipment or enjoy a snack/drink overlooking the Gouwzee.
