Modern cottage with fantastic views! Relax and enjoy a beautiful view. From the modern cottage you have a magnificent view of the nature reserve. The cottage has a compact kitchen with stove, small oven, Nespresso machine, kettle and fridge freezer. The hallway leads to the checkroom, shower and toilet. At the back of the cottage you will find a lovely double bed, with comfortable box spring mattresses. The cottage is fully electrically heated and cooled and is well insulated with triple glazing. The electricity is largely generated by the solar panels on the roof of the cottage!
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the Jan Durkspolder. A relatively undiscovered part of National Park De Alde Feanen. The origins of the area, especially seen from above, are still clearly visible. In the past there were 5 farms in the polder. But now the area has been completely returned to nature and you can enjoy the abundant flora and fauna via a walking path and a canoe route. For example, hundreds of birds find their nesting place here, from very small birds will the reed warbler, to a large colony of spoonbills. The otter is also doing well in this area. A special otter passage has therefore been constructed in mid-2023, so that this beautiful mammal can safely cross from the Jan Durkspolder to the Wijde Ee!
