A luxury guesthouse for 4-6 people near the Lauwersmeer area and Unesco World Heritage Wadden Sea. In 2020 we transformed dilapidated cheese lofts (dairy factory) into a beautiful house + guesthouse. The guesthouse is suitable for 4-6 persons (4 adults). The guesthouse is accessible via a private entrance and there is ample parking. Through the hall you enter the living room with kitchen. A comfortable kitchen fully equipped: fridge-freezer, oven / microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, water cooker and coffee maker. There is enough coffee and tea for the first day. The guest house has a private garden + deck. The garden is NOT fenced by the water, it is therefore good to know to watch the children. In spring/summer there is a sup for you to discover the beautiful surroundings by water. In short, an ideal base if you are looking for peace, space and beautiful nature.
Nature and surroundings
At +/- 4 kilomer distance is the beautiful fishing village of Paesens- Moddergat. Here you can walk along the mudflats or visit the 'fiskershúske'. At +/- 12 kilomer distance lies the beautiful Lauwersmeer area, a real must for nature lovers. Our guesthouse is also an ideal base for a visit to one of the Wadden Islands Schiermonnikoog or Ameland. There are many excursions organized in the area such as: mudflats, boat trips etc. A supermarket and butcher are located 2 kilometers away in the village Anjum. An ideal environment to discover by bike. It is possible to rent 2x an electric bicycle. Ask about the possibilities * Breakfast in consultation
