Welcome to this nature house in Twente. This special place, named after my grandmother Reina, carries a rich family history. The house was once built by my grandfather and my father grew up here from childhood. Now my husband and I have the privilege of having our own son grow up here. We would also like to share this special place with others by renting out the back house as a vacation spot. Through your own front door you will enter your temporary green paradise. In the living room you can sit in the comfortable sitting area or at the rustic dining table after an adventurous day. Through the kitchen window you can enjoy the natural view of the garden and farmlands. You might just come face to face with a curious squirrel or passing deer. The bedroom has two comfortable beds and the bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Through the sliding doors you enter your own sheltered part of the garden, where you can fully enjoy your vacation rest.
Nature and surroundings
A quiet country road leads you through the agricultural landscape to your cottage, hidden among the greenery. Reina's Hoeve welcomes you with a warm smile and a beautiful view over the vast farmlands. Here you will experience the peace and quiet of Twente. Upon arrival you walk through our charming garden full of trees that my grandfather planted here 70 years ago. Twente has much to offer for every holidaymaker. Reina's farm is located in the Westerhoeven, a hamlet in Vriezenveen. Surrounded by meadows with cows and horses, where donkeys and chickens also enjoy the outdoors. Take a stroll along the Stouwe, a beautiful natural stream, or get on your bike to explore the Twente countryside and the moors. In the morning accompanied by the cheerful birdsong and in the evening enjoy the setting sun that gives a romantic glow to the meadows between the trees.
