This place is truly created with love, present in every single detail of the house. One has to see and feel it by themselves, no words could ever describe it! The majority of the furniture of the house is authentic and made by the local craftsmen, the same goes for the cutlery too. However, our pride is the restored masonry stove traditionally used for baking bread (still in working order). The main house has two rooms, new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom as well as an authentic masonry stove (still in working order). The first room of the house includes the stove, a dining table, large closet, a cupboard for the dining cutlery, two single beds, one of whom features the traditional horsehair mattress as well as other authentic accessories common for the for the living room of such a farmhouse. The other room features another closet, large double-bed, single bed and a study nook.

In front of the main house is sauna house with a little room in it. When visiting us in summer, we also offer a chance to spend the night in there as the room has a double bed with baldachin on top - creating a beautiful, romantic atmosphere. In the total amount of beds this sleeping option, however, is not included. The sauna is available for the guests to use and will be kindly prepared for you per request (for a fee of EUR 35). What else do we have? A well, a large wooden swing, hammock seating area in the apple orchard as well as a traditional outside toilet and shed, because it is simply not a farmhouse without these necessities! What to do around? First of all, it's such a remote and special place that you don't want to go anywhere at all. But close by is Viļaka, home of one of the most impressive Gothic-style masonry churches in Latvia as well as a lake with volleyball court, fishing possibilities, SUP, catamaran and boat rental.
