The 1909 farmhouse was renovated while maintaining its authentic character. Modern comforts were provided without compromising the soul of the rural building. The atmosphere is thoroughly Swedish and the furnishings very personal: faluröd-painted wooden facades, white windows, wooden floors, rustic furniture, local vintage finds...The kitchen-diner is the beating heart where the amateur chef can indulge himself and where pleasant meals can be enjoyed. The cozy living room invites to relax, the bedrooms have a soothing authentic character. Throughout the airy rooms the windows overlook the private green property with meadow and forest. The covered terrace at the front is a blissful outdoor room. The adjoining authentic barn stores bikes, dinghy, BBQ, garden equipment, games, invites creative people to tinker and there is a summer dining area with a unique view of the meadow. The house is an island of silence in a green oasis with complete privacy: come home and relax!
Nature and surroundings
The farm is located on a private estate of about 4 hectares on a hill with meadow, forest and stream, which flows seamlessly into the surrounding woods with endless hiking possibilities. There are no neighbors. Lake Kittemeer is at the bottom of the hill with 2 sandy beaches (swimming, boating, grilling). The province of Hälsingland offers the best of Sweden in a nutshell: forests, lakes, nature reserves, the beautiful botnic nature coastline, picturesque villages and fishing harbors, historic farms (unesco world heritage).
