Near Leeuwarden (4 km) you will find our beautiful accommodation with an amazing view over the Frisian landscape. For a wonderful stay you don't have to compromise on luxury, from rain shower to smart TV and a luxury box spring, everything has been thought of. Spend the night in one of our nature houses with a cozy interior and an open-view with a beautiful view over the meadows. The accommodation has 2 bedrooms, one with a double box spring (160*210), a bunk bed (200*90), a crib and a table chair for the smallest. In the living area there is a dining and sitting area with TV and an open kitchen with all accessories. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, coffee maker, kettle and a combination microwave with oven function. The accommodations are for 4 people and a child who fits into a crib (60*120). In addition, free WIFI is available in the accommodation.
Nature and surroundings
Just outside Swichum you will find our campsite which offers you plenty of peace and quiet and space only 4 kilometers from Leeuwarden. In the fall of 2023 we have placed two vacation homes on our small-scale campsite. The location of camping Swichumer Pleats makes it a suitable base for various trips in Friesland. These include the national park the Alde Feanen, zoo Aqua Zoo, Kameleondorp Terherne, a day shopping in Drachten or Heerenveen or a day trip to the Wadden Islands. Camping facilities: Charging station for electric cars, Bread roll service (from April to September), Every Saturday the Fishmonger comes (from April to September), Playground with a double swing, slide, sandpit, playhouse and a ping pong table and a washing machine (from April to September). Linen is included. Only the bedding for the crib you need to bring your own.
