Welcome to our dream cottage! We have slowly converted this house into a true paradise. It is colorfully designed and tastefully decorated. The large loft and a large landing create a spacious feeling. The house has several workspaces, a large and small bedroom and a completely renovated bathroom. All this makes this home a pleasant place for both relaxing and working. From the dining table you have a fantastic view over the meadows to the Drents Friese Woud. 1 small dog allowed, additional costs are eur 15 per booking. Dogs must be leashed at all times in the park. Clearly indicate when booking that a dog is coming. Sheets + towel: 10 p.p.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on the edge of a quiet park near the nature park the Drents Friese Woud, which has not yet been discovered by hordes of tourists. It is a wonderful cycling and hiking area with forests, heath and sand drifts. A luxury sauna is within walking distance. - Canada Lake (Aekinger Meer) has magnificent swimming water and it is often nice and quiet. You can go there by car (15 min). Even better is the beautiful bike ride of 40 min - De Kale Duinen (Aekinger field) is a beautiful part of the Drents Friese forest, a unique landscape of dunes, forests and heathland. You can make beautiful walks and bicycle tours. There are also mountain bike routes - Frederiksoord is part of the old colony from 1830 where the poor were housed and learned to farm land. You can visit the beautiful museum De Proefkolonie.
