Do you love mountains, forests and animals? The yurt with double bed and wood-burning stove is located on our mountain pasture at an altitude of 900 m on the edge of the Piedmontese Southern Alps. It offers relaxation for two people. The Mongolian yurt is like a large insulated round tent. It has a diameter of 6 m and is simply but beautifully furnished with a double bed, wood-burning stove, chest of drawers and an outdoor kitchen under the platform. The windows lead to a small raised terrace with a view of the forest. It is not suitable for small children. There is a composting toilet and an outdoor kitchen under the yurt platform, as well as one at the main house. There is also a shared hot outdoor shower and a bathroom. The yurt has electricity and fresh mountain spring water. The outdoor shower has glazed doors and offers a picturesque view of the valley. However, it does not have the privacy that some people may be used to.
Nature and surroundings
Our alpine pasture is surrounded by forests, streams, mountains and vastness. A place of silence, of connection with nature, of connection with oneself, a place of simple living and honest contact with the inhabitants. The surroundings offer something for all nature lovers. Hiking trails up to 2400 meters start directly behind us. The rivers in the valley are perfect for a swim, while mountain bikers can get their adrenaline pumping on the single trails, ramps and climbs. The Monterosa and Pila ski resorts are around 1.5 hours away by car. Turin and Milan with their sights can also be reached in the same time. The spiritual community of Damanhur with its underground temples of humanity is just 20 minutes away.
