In nature reserve the Frisian Woods stands at the edge of a small-scale nature campground caravan Niek with an enclosed garden with beautiful waterfront views. The garden has a canopy and a sunny terrace. Caravan Niek is attractively furnished, has a spacious living room with wood stove. A basket of wood is included in the rent. You can buy more wood on the spot. Caravan Niek has a bedroom with a double bed and an adjoining sleeping area with a single bed. There is a kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator and a bathroom with toilet and sink. You can shower in the toilet block nearby. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. In the caravan there is a double comforter and a single comforter. A linen package can be rented, 15 euros per person. There are no cleaning costs, you must leave the caravan clean on departure. Or you can order cleaning service for 60 euros. Pilates -yoga classes are held at the campsite on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.

The Frisian Woods is a protected nature reserve in North East Friesland. Meadows are surrounded by trees, forests and water. It is not yet so touristy here and therefore suitable for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. Here you can especially hear the birds. The cottage has a garden with a beautiful view of the water. Horses, sheep, deer and hares walk in the meadows around the cottage. On the site there is a forest strip, a hiking field and a large pond. For dogs there is a fenced playing field. Fishing ponds 500 m away. Cycling routes directly from the campsite. Mountain bikes can be rented at the campsite. There are also pilates -yoga classes where you can participate for 7.50. At the reception you can order hot rolls in the morning. Bike routes are directly from the campsite. Nature reserve Lauwersmeer, the boat to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog and cozy towns like Dokkum or Leeuwarden are nearby. Stores for groceries and an OV are 4 km away.
