This cozy and stylishly renovated chalet is located in Braunwald, in the Swiss Alps in the canton of Glarus. Situated at an altitude of 1350 meters, the chalet offers breathtaking views of the Glarus Alps, including views of Braunwald's house mountain, the "Ortstock." From the chalet you can walk straight to the ski elevators and explore the family-friendly ski and hiking area. The chalet comfortably accommodates 12 people in 5 bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms. It features a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace, a sunny balcony and garden and wireless internet. The chalet is ideal for one or two families and has several children's facilities, such as a baby crib and high chair. The rental price also includes final cleaning and the use of bed linen, towels, wifi and wood for the stove.
Nature and surroundings
Braunwald is the family destination in the Glarus Alps. A car-free family oasis where children can laugh, parents can recharge and grandparents can relax. The area offers an abundance of summer and winter activities, including hiking, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, skiing, cross-country skiing and sledding. A little train (the Braunwald cable car) from Linthal takes 7 minutes to reach the car-free Braunwald at 1256 meters above sea level. Once at the top, you escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and leave everything behind! Braunwald is one big adventure playground with a nature in which you can let off steam. Completely undisturbed by car traffic.
