A charming, fully-private **** self-catering gîte with Spa & Wellness area, garden and swimming pool in the heart of the country village of Hon-Hergies, in the Avesnois region of Hauts-de-France, not far from the Belgian border. We're delighted to welcome you to a peaceful, country setting, in an atypical setting, designed and furnished in a warm, romantic, wooded atmosphere, tastefully decorated to create a place of relaxation, peace and a complete change of scenery. Designed in an elegant, woodsy style, our gîte will transport you to a timeless interlude, far from everyday life, in a place of serenity where the horizon watches the sun set. A moment to relax and let go in our entirely private wellness area, designed as a natural setting for relaxation with sauna, hammam, spa and outdoor pool. A garden with terrace in the middle of the village countryside with its fields and orchard.
Nature and surroundings
Hon-Hergies is a small, flower-filled rural village, with its countryside and farmland, its orchards, its richly biodiverse flora and fauna, its streams and little chapels in the corner of a field, and its astonishing sunsets from the heights. Hon-Hergies boasts a rich religious heritage (church, chapels, oratories and niches), a civil heritage (town hall, war memorial, kiosk), an industrial heritage (old bluestone and black marble quarries) and an agricultural heritage (inventoried farms, old flour mills, numerous farm machines). The Avesnois is classified as a regional nature park with an exceptional landscape, architectural, cultural and natural heritage. Numerous hiking and cycling trails available from the gîte. Stables, equestrian accommodations, equestrian competitions and riding trails. Artisans' market every last Friday of the month from March to December.
