In the outskirts of Hengevelde, a church village in the municipality of Hof van Twente, is our beautiful farm. Here we have enthusiastically realized a small loft. This is located on the second floor in the barn next to the farm and is accessible via an old staircase. Upstairs you will find a bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, an equipped kitchen, a sitting area with sofa bed and dining area and a comfortable bed. All this in 1 room For breakfast a breakfast package is available for a small fee, you can cozily prepare your own. Outside there is a lovely garden at your disposal. In the garden there are young fruit trees and a picnic table. On a beautiful morning you can enjoy breakfast in the sun. There is a parking lot, and the (electric) bikes can be stored in the part of the farm. Loading the bikes is allowed under supervision. The key for the loft is available at all times for a, if desired, contactless stay
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful region. There are several cycling routes with nodes in the vicinity, which lead you through forest areas and vast landscapes. To the right of the yard you will find cycling junction number 9. From here you can head towards the Mallumse molen or Twickel Estate, the castles route around Diepenheim is also a must or at a slightly greater distance a cycle route across the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Walking can be done along the Bolscherbeek or via the route network. The Bolscherbeek is also very beautiful in winter. The frost on the grass and trees, and the low sun. From the yard to the left you will find the first route posts at 50-100 meters. In the villages around Hengevelde there are several sights of cultural/historical heritage. The fortified town of Delden also has many monuments of historical value. 20 kilometers away is Enschede, a nice city for shopping and good food.
