Our single-story home is a combo of old construction (1960) and new construction (2024). A spacious place with wooded large garden in camping/festival atmosphere. There is also a caravan in the garden, which is sleepable. The spatial experience in the house comes from the many windows and high ceilings. The new building was built under architecture and the house has an energy label A+, icm heat pump and solar panels and green sedum roof. A piano and guitar are available.It is a lovely quiet place, where you can freely make a campfire and chill in the hammock.We ask our guests to take care of the four chickens in exchange for free organic eggs and our two cats Ed and Otje, who can freely walk in and out. Dogs are not allowed because of our cats and chickens. At the time of writing and taking photos (June 1, 2024) we are completing the renovation. In August it will be even more beautiful. Welcome!

The nature house is located on the edge of estate Nijenburg (Natuurmonumenten) on the outskirts of Heiloo. A unique place: within cycling distance of the beach Egmond aan Zee (25 min.) and the historic center of Alkmaar (12 min.). The house is directly surrounded by Forest and park, and is completely free. A footpath starts next to the house. Wonderful for walking and running. The beautiful outdoor swimming pool 'Het Baafje' is 7 min. by bike, and the NS railway station is 20 min. by foot. There is also a bus stop with bus to Alkmaar 5 min walk. Location is ideal for day trips to Amsterdam (30 min with intercity), The Zaanse Schans, Bergen and Texel. The house is practically energy neutral, there are 4 bicycles available, 1 of which is electric. The shopping center 't Loo is 4 minutes by bike or 10 minutes by foot. Here are all amenities such as Albert Heijn supermarket, drugstore, Hema, fishmonger, nuts and cheese etc. Also nearby: a delicious ice cream parlor (la Fiorentina) and restaurants.
