Welcome to our cozy nature house in Naves, Auvergne. This charming 47m² cottage, located in our 16th century farmhouse, can accommodate two guests and exudes historic charm. This cottage is a combination of rustic elements and modern comforts. The living room has an impressive stone fireplace where you can relax. Sitting in the windowsill, you look out on the courtyard, surrounded by old barns and a stone dovecote. The well-equipped kitchenette is fully equipped. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, a beautiful view of the rolling hills of the valley and a marble coal fireplace under the window, which used to heat the room. The bathroom has all modern conveniences amid unique details, such as a stone washbasin and an old bread oven. Outside in the courtyard, you can enjoy the sun in peace with a cup of coffee or local wine.
Nature and surroundings
Naves is an authentic French village in the beautiful Auvergne countryside. It is nestled in terraces on a hill overlooking a picturesque valley, with a playful patchwork of land divided by wild hedges and shrubs that change their hues through the seasons. The village offers beautiful walking trails connected by hidden green paths between the fields and houses, leading you past picturesque washing places and orchards. It is a perfect base for exploring the region. Discover the beautiful nature of Auvergne with a visit to the wild Fôret des Colettes (10km), one of the most beautiful beech forests in Europe, with winding roads, ravines, valleys, streams and the Bouble River. Adventurers can enjoy the Gorges de la Sioule (25km), a breathtaking gorge perfect for canoeing and swimming. Or explore the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne (80km), known for its spectacular volcanic landscapes and beautiful views.
