Welcome to our Nature House, our beautifully located cottage in Giethmen, near Ommen in the beautiful Vecht valley. The cottage is situated on a spacious plot of almost 500 square meters on a corner of the campsite. Here you wake up overlooking the fields of the Overijssel landscape where a branch of the Regge meanders. All quiet and yet plenty to see in terms of flora and fauna.
Nature and surroundings
The Hofhuske is located in an area where there is a lot to do, the Vechtdal of the Overijsselse Vecht. We especially enjoy the peace and nature and make walks and bike rides from home. The Archemerberg is within walking distance (300 meters) and also the nodes for walking and cycling are almost at the door. The famous Pieterpad comes right past the cottage. On the Regge and the Vecht you can also enjoy canoeing. Inside are several (junction) maps and tourist information for you. Should you be looking for something more lively, Ommen with all its amenities and cafes is easily accessible, 3 kilometers by bike or car. The station of Ommen is easily accessible both on foot and by bicycle. Beautiful Hanseatic cities such as Zwolle and Deventer are nearby.
