Our Swedish vacation home (130m2 living) is in the quiet and unspoiled nature in the northern tip of Värmland. The house is detached. Cross the road and you come to the river Klarälven. The access roads are good, even in winter. This attractive, modern and cozy Swedish vacation home can accommodate 8 people (4 bedrooms). The living room has a large wood stove and a lovely lounge sofa with a large TV (Dutch channels). From the living room you walk onto the round veranda where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful view of the hills. Part of the veranda, on the side of the house, is covered. The kitchen is spacious (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, bread maker and Jura coffee machine) with a dining table and a wood-fired stove/oven. There is also a separate dining room. On one of the bedrooms you can use a good workstation.
Nature and surroundings
The immediate vicinity offers, in addition to a beautiful forested nature with waterfalls, various sporting activities. Among others, rafting, canoeing, off-road trips, moose safari, fishing, dog sledding, skiing and cross-country skiing. And of course wonderful (mountain) hiking in beautiful forests with views and waterfalls. Moose are a regular occurrence here, sometimes even in your backyard! You can also enjoy cycling and mountain biking. In winter you can snowshoe perfectly. Rafting and canoeing are 30 minutes away. Cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and dog sledding is 20 minutes. 4wd tours and moose safari are 10 minutes away. The ski resort Branas (22km piste) is 20 minutes, the ski resort Trysill (Norway, 45km piste) and Salen (45km piste) are an hour and over an hour away. Booking can also be done directly (cheaper). Supermarket, gas station and ATM are 10 minutes drive away.
