In these nice Tiny houses you will experience a piece of comfort and also relax from the simplicity of nature. The property borders nature reserve the Rottige Meenthe. Sleep upstairs in the loft and watch the stars through the bright large windows. Start the day wonderfully with breakfast on the porch and wake up peacefully in nature! The Tiny house has a kitchen with oven, a comfortable sitting area, a dining area, private bathroom with shower and toilet. The Tiny Houses are suitable for two or (when using the trundle bed) four people.
Nature and surroundings
You don't need much to enjoy what's there. Make your own campfire, grow vegetables in the park's central vegetable garden or head out into the beautiful countryside. Discover the calm atmosphere of the wetlands. Directly behind the park is the Rottige Meenthe nature reserve. This area in turn borders National Park Weeribbben-Wieden. Together, these areas form a large low moor swamp that arose in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries as a result of peat extraction. The area is largely open to the public. There is wonderful canoeing, cycling and walking. Extra attention deserves the town of Giethoorn. Giethoorn, with its many canals, bridges and lakes, is called the Venice of the North. A visit to one of the old Zuiderzee villages nearby such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk is also worthwhile. Lemmer, by the way, is a popular water sports town. From here, many boats travel into the Frisian Lake District.
