This nature house makes lodging special. We have two luxury suites and a luxury suite Landhuisje which are fully equipped. They can serve as a nice base for trips through the Reest valley. Unwind in the wonderful rural atmosphere around De Kasteelhoeve and take walks or go cycling in the vast forests around Staphorst. Enjoy all the beauty the area has to offer. We will make you feel at home in our special place.
Nature and surroundings
WINE TASTING Just 20 meters from your suite you will find the atmospheric tasting room. Want to learn more about wine? You can. We are happy to let you taste five white and five red wines from different countries. Explanations about the origin, wine-food combinations and everything else you want to know. For dessert a delicious Port and a fantastic liqueur will be served. In good weather the tasting will be held outside in the garden. The cost for the tasting is €17,50 per person and can be booked in our webshop. WALKING As a walker you can fully enjoy the landscape and culture of the Reest valley. Dozens of routes lead you through the directly adjacent to De Kasteelhoeve forestry Staphorst, across the heath and through hay fields along centuries-old farms. So you can choose from: Route Wildenberg 7 km over heathland, through woods, along fens and over the Reest that separates Overijssel and Drenthe.
