Atmospheric B&B with perhaps the most beautiful view over the Axarquía... (east of Málaga). El Refugio offers four attractive rooms with private entrance, two of which are comfort rooms and two spacious suites. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with all amenities. The suite 'Adelfa' has a king-size bed for two persons. We can prepare these also as two single beds. Have you become curious? Feel welcome and be enchanted by this beautiful place, just like us. Nature and surroundings
El Refugio is situated on the border of the Sierra de Tejeda Almijara y Alhama nature park, at the foot of la Maroma. The road ends three kilometers past the village of Alcaucín and you feel like you are at the end of the inhabited world. Here you can enjoy phenomenal panoramic views of the Axarquía valley with the nearby La Viñuela reservoir and the Boquete de Zafarraya mountain range. In the middle of nature you can completely relax at the pool or in one of the lovely other places in the garden. But if you want more action, it is close by. Walking, cycling, a trip past authentic white villages, a visit to the royal cities in Andalusia, a day at the beach, etc. It is all possible from our B&B!
