Our Nature House is an authentic detached country house for 18 people. Retreat with friends, family or colleagues in romantic opulence. Time for each other. Reading. Extensive cooking. Playing table tennis. Hiking. Biking. Daydreaming. Logging and making a bonfire at night * The living room of 100m2 is a nice space with open kitchen, cozy sitting area and nice long dining tables * The kitchen island of 3 meters is ideal to enjoy extensive cooking together * There are 7 bedrooms and a total of 18 beds * There are 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets * In the wild rose garden you will find a hot tub, a sauna and a wonderful view of the valley * Bad weather? In the cinema are hundreds of movies to watch on the projector * In the walled courtyard is a large trampoline and ping-pong table * Outside cooking? You can do that on the huge firebowl or on the bbq * Reading a book or being creative? In the studio you have a wonderful view of the rose garden
Nature and surroundings
Discover the Vulkaneifel: the wild forests, fairytale castles, wonderful cycling and hiking trails, dozens of volcanoes and the cleanest air in Western Europe. It is quiet and at night it is pitch dark. And a three-hour drive from Utrecht. Some of the things you can do in the area: * Swimming in a volcanic lake: In the Vulkaneifel there are several 'maars' where you can swim * Hiking for hours; we have several walks plotted that start at the front door * Rent electric mountain bikes, they are brought and picked up at the house, routes are plotted * Go on a day out to one of the many castles in the area, to a wild animal park with wolves and eagles or amusement park Gondorf * The beautiful city of Trier is a 40-minute drive away, as is the Moselle region for wine tasting. In an hour you can be in Luxembourg * Discover extraordinary natural phenomena, such as the Devil's Canyon, the ice caves of Birresborn or the dolomites of Gerolstein.
