The country house is located in the picturesque Volcanic Eifel and offers numerous leisure activities for nature lovers and active vacationers. Hikers can explore the nearby Eifelsteig trail and the foothills of the famous juniper hiking trail. Directly behind the house, the hiking trail leads over the "Hönselberg" to beautiful viewpoints and a nature reserve with juniper heath and orchids. Cyclists get their money's worth on the "Kalkeifel cycle path". Worth seeing are the unique maars (volcanic lakes), some of which are accessible for swimming, as well as an impressive volcanic crater just 2 km away. The "Dreimühlen" waterfall and the historic Kerpen Castle are also worthwhile excursion destinations. For further sporting activities, there is a ski lift on the Ernstberg, just 8 km away, and a golf course in the neighboring village.
