Peace and quiet in this authentic Veluwe forest cottage that has been in my family since 1950. Be awakened by the singing of the birds in the forest around you. Come especially from Monday to Thursday. Then it is extra quiet and yet cozy in Epe and in the Veluwe nature. Quiet on the porch or by the wood stove on the bench. Grab old books "of yesteryear" from the shelf and imagine yourself in the 30-60s of the last century. I myself came here in my student days with my boyfriend and later with my husband to have nothing but each other and nature for a while. The power of simplicity. And the embrace of lush and varied nature so close by.

Stroll from your cottage to the Tongeren boardwalk and through the sunny meadows to the old park-like forests of the Tongeren Estate. Meadows, farms, forests and vast rolling heathlands beckon to you. By bike, you'll be at the Hidden Village within half an hour and cycle through heath and forests and through the crown domain where wild boar and giant red deer can be spotted through to Vierhouten. To the hospitality industry as the Vossenberg. Feast on pancakes at the Ossenstal, in the middle of the forest with game. Look out over all that greenery from the Haelberg. Warm up and relax with a day of wellness at the Veluwse Bron Guided or solo game drives: pure nature All around you. And how about the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zwolle or Deventer.
