This cozy little nature house in southern Sweden is the perfect place for a wonderful relaxing back to nature and "back to basics" vacation. Ideal for 2 to 3 adults. The cottage is cozily furnished with a cozy wood stove and a fine kitchen. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed 160x200, while in the garden there is another cozy stuga with a bunk bed for additional guests or children. The simple bathroom, with shower, sink and compost toilet, is also in the garden in a separate stuga. The water comes from our own well. This means that it is not drinking water and one should use it very sparingly.Outside you can enjoy the large garden 1300 m2 with a lovely veranda/cover. There is also private parking at the cottage. All this makes the cottage a good base for your vacation in southern Sweden. It remains a nature house in the middle of the forest so do not expect a 5 star hotel.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located at the edge of a charming village, wonderfully free in the forests of southern Sweden. The village offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation: a good restaurant (2 km) and a supermarket (2 km)where you can get fresh products and supplies. Just 10 minutes drive away you will find three beautiful swimming and fishing lakes, ideal for a refreshing swim or a quiet day of fishing. You can also explore the surrounding nature via several hiking trails that start near the cottage. Visit the fun town of Karlskrona, known for its historic buildings and cozy atmosphere. An hour's drive away is Kalmar, a city with a beautiful castle and a lively downtown area. Also, the island of Öland, a short drive from Kalmar, across the bridge, offers beautiful nature reserves and charming seaside villages to explore. The region is known for glassblowing (Kosta) also there is an elk park nearby. Blekinge is called the garden of Sweden. Enjoy!
