Fancy a special overnight stay? Come and enjoy our brand new reacreation pod. This is a compact accommodation, ideal for a romantic stay; all year round. Upon arrival, you will have your own spacious parking space and your private outdoor area of 100m2 where you can enjoy in complete privacy. The pod is fully equipped including a full bathroom, a comfortable bed (140x200) and French doors to the terrace. Thus, the pod offers both luxury and a spacious feeling. You can book the Jacuzzi, which is outside on the grass, when booking for only 50,- per stay (unlimited). That gives an even more luxurious outdoor living feeling. And in the evening you can sit romantically by the garden fireplace after having a barbecue, of course. Can you see yourself getting up the next morning and opening the doors? Walking out onto the terrace and just enjoying the birdsong and the sun on your face.Plenty of nature, and beyond......nobody!
Nature and surroundings
Our guests are surrounded by an authentic Frisian landscape of meadows, overlooking the unique unspoiled nature reserve "De Houtwiel" Every season this is a huge attraction for many bird species. Besides all the sounds of the "Houtwiel" it is also freely accessible for lovely walks and is easily and directly accessible from the pod. Thanks in part to Nature Reserve the Alde Feanen, the area around Feanwalden is the perfect base for walking, cycling, or, for example, renting a boat. For a wonderful island feeling, you can be on the Wadden Islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog, just a 25-minute drive from the pod. But if you feel like a cozy terrace, we have, near the historic town of Dokkum or the capital Leeuwarden. And further discover for yourself all the small picturesque villages in the area. If you go out for dinner in the evening, there is plenty of choice from many cozy restaurants and eateries nearby.
