Beautiful houseboat with roof and back terrace on the water in the marina of Monnickendam, a beautiful historic fishing town with various catering/nature and in the harbor is a beach bar). Rent a sup, canoe, sailboat or motorboat from the Beachbar and go out on the lake to enjoy freedom, peace and nature. Free parking in the harbor.The spacious houseboat has 2 bedrooms, 1 with 2 single beds and 1 with a double bed, with closet. There is a kitchen with basic inventory, airfryer, stove, refrigerator. There is a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet. In the living room there is a dining table and sofa and enjoy the view through the large windows from the living room. There is heating and air conditioning on board. The houseboat is not to sail itself. The houseboat is meant to enjoy in the harbor; boating with the houseboat is not allowed during rental.
Nature and surroundings
Enjoy Amsterdam with its beautiful canals or the historic peninsula of Marken (15 min boat ride) and the fishing village of Volendam is just a stone's throw away. You can make beautiful boating/biking/walking trips, also in nature reserves in the area. Thousands of years ago people turned marshland into pasture with the natural Waterland full of waving reeds, ditches and picturesque villages as an end result. A paradise for (water) birds. Visit the Keukenhof or the Zaanse schand. The picturesque center of Monnickendam with good restaurants is a 5-minute walk from the harbor. Amsterdam is easy to reach, also by public transport. Enough culture, relaxation and nature in the area to make your stay unforgettable.
