The non-smoking apartment with its own entrance is located on the first floor of a listed farmhouse and consists of a living-dining room with an open kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, dishwasher and induction hob as well as a steamer, including a sous-vide cooking function and other automatic programs. There are several cupboards in the bedroom and living room for your luggage. You will also find a large flat-screen TV and a stereo system including a record player in the living room. With a length of 2.2 m, the waterbed also allows taller people to enjoy a restful night's sleep. There is also a second large flat-screen TV in the bedroom as well as a ceiling fan in addition to the air conditioning. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bathtub. Everything is heated by central heating. The apartment also has pleated blinds and insect screens on the windows.

Grefrath is surrounded by greenery in the beautiful Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. With its dense forests, river meadows, heathlands and lakes, it offers perfect opportunities for canoeing, cycling and hiking tours. There are 13 designated hiking trails alone that lead over 70 km through the Niers floodplains. With over 8000 square meters of ice surface (indoor rink, covered outdoor rink, outdoor ring), the Grefrath IceSport & EventPark is one of the largest artificial ice facilities in Europe. Here you will also find the Lower Rhine Open-Air Museum including the Dorenburg, a baroque aristocratic residence from the 14th century. At the end of November/beginning of December there is a "Romantic Christmas Market"; the Folklore Museum presents attractive temporary exhibitions and events; as well as a collection of toys from three centuries. Other plus points of the Niesgemeinde: "Niershorst" airfield for sports pilots, as well as stately manor houses such as Gut Niershoff, the Dückerhaus, an old district administrator's residence and the renovated tower of Uda Castle in the Oedt district.
