We offer our guests a crazy experience where you still find pure peace. Because deep in the back of an authentic Frisian landscape you will find us far from the road (900 m). In the evenings and nights it is still really dark here. Nowhere artificial light and you look at a starry sky that looks foreign. If you drive into the yard to your private parking you see our unique farm already lie. Unique because there are only a few of these kind of small farms left in Friesland. Your stay is equipped with all the luxury but no fuss of course! Underfloor heating, a kitchenette, fridge with freezer, microwave and private bathroom. A lovely bed of 1.80 by 2.10 and you have free Wifi, TV. Through the doors you come directly into your private garden with a roof and heated terrace. There is also a wood-fired hot tub that you can optionally book at 35 euros per time.
Nature and surroundings
Our guests are surrounded by an authentic Frisian landscape of meadows, overlooking the unspoiled nature reserve "De Houtwiel", a unique marshland. Every season this is a huge attraction for many bird species. In addition to all the sounds of the "Houtwiel", it is also freely accessible for lovely walks and can be reached easily and directly from the accommodation. Thanks in part to the Alde Feanen nature reserve, the area around Feanwalden is the perfect base for hiking, cycling, or, for example, renting a boat. For a wonderful island feeling, you can be on the Wadden Islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog in no time at all, just a 25-minute drive away.
