From May 2025 you can rent our houseboat in Töcksfors Värmland right on the Norwegian border. It is located on Lake Foxen on the Dalsland Canal. The houseboat is in a quiet, secluded location next to an old sawmill. From here you can take a canoe/kayak or boat out on the water directly to the countless islands. The houseboat is firmly anchored and can be reached via its own jetty. It has a double bed in the upper sleeping area and two cabins, each with a bunk bed. A bathroom with shower and WC. A fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven and fridge are also on board. You can enjoy steaks and sausages from the gas barbecue on the sun deck as the sun goes down.
Nature and surroundings
The houseboat is located on Lake Foxen, which is part of the Dalsland Canal system and connects the Stora Le and the Lelang. Here, right on the border with Norway, you will find everything you need for a perfect vacation, from untouched nature to a shopping center. You only need 1 hour by car to get to Oslo.
