A warm welcome to our vacation home ❤️ Nestled in the middle of nature, our beautiful house with breathtaking views is located at the end of a residential street in the village. The 100 square meters of living space are spread over 2 levels. The entrance area boasts a checkroom. Next you will find an open-plan kitchen/living room with kitchenette and seating area. Continue into a bedroom with double bed, closet and exercise bike. The second floor is reached via a wooden staircase and a spacious living room with panoramic windows and a gallery with a desk awaits you. A bathroom with rain shower and another bedroom with double bed. The house is heated by a water heat pump via underfloor heating and radiators. The house itself has a terrace with an enclosed garden. The house is fully equipped with electronic shutters. There is a parking space and covered bicycle parking along the road. The electricity for your electric car is billed separately.
Nature and surroundings
Schalkenbach is located in the Eifel, in the Brohl valley. It is a pretty village surrounded by meadows, forests and fields. A small stream, the Schalkenbach, runs through the village. The Eifel is characterized by its seasons. In spring, the earth sprouts and thrives and recovers from the snowy winter. In summer, the sun announces itself but the lush forest cools you down and autumn shows you its colorful dress, wonderful. Here you can enjoy extensive hiking, Nordic walking, cycling, motorcycling, climbing, swimming. A via ferrata, Ettringer Lay on the Traumpfad Vulkanpfad, is very close by. Numerous lakes, such as Laacher See, Riedener Waldsee, Krufter Waldsee, Rodder Maar, Königsee, await you. For car and motorcycle fans, a trip to the Nürburgring race track is a good idea. Sledging, skiing and snowboarding are also possible in our area, weather permitting.
