Spending the night in a beautiful mountain tent is an unforgettable experience. The tent stands on an open park domain (10 ha) not far from the Leuven Mechelen canal, surrounded by fields.... Feel like making a two-day bike ride, but don't feel like bringing a tent on your bike? A double bed is waiting for you at this final location! The free-range chickens lay an egg for your breakfast! You/I can make coffee, tea or cook a pot in the kitchen for the campers in the shed. It is a self-harvested farm. There have been 1000 pine trees planted on the property and you can enjoy silence and birdsong. There is no internet coverage. The tent is 40 m2 and intended for 2 people. More people can sleep in it. There is a second larger tent for groups/families. We rent only 1 or 2 tents so it's a little en famille and on the farm. Events are also possible. Inside and outside. dogs that do not chase chickens are allowed. Our chickens run loose.
Nature and surroundings
There are hiking and biking trails in the immediate area. (Button point 23 and 88 ) use the route planner We have 2 bikes you can borrow. You can book our oriental private sauna with hot tub separately,25 € pp +20 € start The use of the pool can be shared with some residents in warm weather. There is air traffic throughout the region. This can be annoying. Still, it remains a popular place to chill for many. Captain Sunset shuttles a sun-driven boat across the canal. You can find him on Facebook. Bring your Canoe to paddle on t canal. There is also room for Camping cars. There is a historic restaurant at the lock. The Maritime with large terrace. There is a family restaurant nearby. You are at 4 km from Herent station direction leuven Brussels, or Wijgmaal to Leuven Mechelen Antwerp and at 3km from an Okay/Spar store. Bus nr 184 stops at 5 min walk.
