Nature house in São Luís

This unique place is situated in the Southwest Alentejo and the Vicentine Coast Natural Park, in a private property of 30ha, near the quiet village of Troviscais approximately half an hour’s drive from beautiful sandy beaches. The Casa do Pomar is a T0+1 type accommodation with a maximum capacity of 3 people. It consists of a bedroom with a kitchenette and a full bathroom and is adapted for people with reduced mobility. The house also has a single sofa bed, and a crib can be provided upon request. The house is equipped with towels, sheets, blankets, dishes, and kitchen utensils, as well as appliances including a stovetop, exhaust fan, and refrigerator. It also has a television and a DVD player. Water heating is done via solar energy. The house is heated through a fireplace and/or oil-filled electric heaters. Next to the house, there is a private pool (4.00m x 2.00m) and a shower with hot and cold water that can be used for refreshing outdoor baths.

Casas da Cerca is located near the small village of Troviscais in Alentejo. There are two café-restaurants in Troviscais, and Café Rita has live music every Thursday evening. The beaches are only a 35-minute drive from our houses, and the Mira River is a 20-minute walk from our houses. São Luís is a 15-minute drive for all groceries, with a daily market offering fresh fish, organic vegetables and fruits. There are supermarkets and two bio shops as well; Nativa & Bioshop Beterraba. Considered the only unpolluted river in Europe, the Mira River is one of the best attractions in Casas da Cerca. The Mira River is 1.5 km away from Casas da Cerca, along a route of unparalleled beauty and abundant wildlife. This cozy and mysterious river has also been quite creative, as it was one of the sources of inspiration in 1965 for the famous "Yesterday" by the Beatles. ​Canoe tours on the Mira by Eco Trails start at Casa Branca or Milfontes.
