Nature and surroundings
Few areas in the Netherlands are so richly endowed with surprising landscapes, old forests, nature reserves and beautiful stream valleys. This conviviality of the environment is also reflected in the B&B. Setting out in these varied and leafy surroundings is a real surprise to many. "Never knew Groningen was so beautiful!" "I have had to adjust my image of Groningen quite a bit, in a positive sense." In Westerwolde there are more than 40 plotted walking routes with which you can discover the varied landscape. Would you rather hop on a bike? Choose one of the plotted routes or make your own route through Westerwolde using the extensive network of bicycle junctions. There is also plenty to experience historically. Places like Bourtange and Oudeschans are very nice to visit. The stately mansions are from a more recent history. Want to know more? Feel free to ask!
