Unwind in this cozy log cabin in a relaxing place. Feel welcome in the middle of a wooded area, lovely in nature by our own lake. Near three provinces Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland. Experience nature while cycling or walking and discover quaint villages like Bakkeveen, Norg and the Bakkeveen dunes. Drachten: 17 km Groningen and Assen: 29 km Leeuwarden: 43 km Amsterdam: 163 km The log cabin with veranda has a sitting room, open kitchen, toilet, bedroom, shower corner and wood stove (40m2) and is located in our garden of 1 hectare and near our own lake. Besides the log cabin we also rent out 2 spacious rooms, so you can also stay with a larger group. In the log cabin there is a double bed of 160x200 meters and there is a possibility to add an extra bed of size 80x190 cm for a third person (we put it ready, you see where you prefer to place it).
Nature and surroundings
In the outskirts of Zevenhuizen, in municipality west quarter, this log cabin is located on a wooded plot with its own lake. Marvel at the many birds, including the kingfisher who is a regular guest at our lake. With a little luck there is a roe deer in the garden, see a squirrel or even a pine marten. Located near three province point Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland. Experience nature while cycling or walking and discover quaint villages like Bakkeveen, Norg and the Bakkeveen dunes. Junction routes start in front of the door. The Nanninga's bos, the Bolmeer and Harense bos are just around the corner and can be reached on foot from your accommodation. Fancy some more water fun? In Marum (4.9km) is a nice outdoor pool, ronostrand is a beautiful place in nature to hang out in a large lake (4.3km) or if you want more action at a lake with an assault course, slide and cable car go to Openende (12km). Of course we are happy to give you all the tips to have a great time with us.
