Welcome to this Nature House! This cottage was used until 2017 as a sheep pen with space for about 15 sheep, farrowing pens and hay storage. In 2020 the renovation started and it was transformed into a cozy home with an area of about 65 m2. Enter through the French doors in the living room or through the indoor storage room where bicycles can also be stored. There is 1 bedroom with choice of arrangement as a double bed (twin beds) or 2 separate single beds. There is a bathroom and separate toilet, an open kitchen with Dolce Gusto coffee machine, and living room. Both the front and the back have a terrace with seating. The cottage has internet, TV, air conditioning for both heating and cooling, and parking. When it is cloudless at night, you can enjoy great stargazing on the terrace behind the cottage or by the frog pool!
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in the Larense Broek between Laren and Holten on our grounds of about 9200 m2. on which a frog pool, groves and a sheep pasture with two stubborn clun forest sheep. Also living there are five curious cats and Olle, our overenthusiastic German shepherd. Nearby are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities such as the Larens Enkenpad, Verwolde estate and the Lochem mountain. The village of Laren is about four kilometers away and the town of Lochem about 10 kilometers. Here you will find cozy cafes, eateries and stores. Nature reserve the Salland Ridge and the Holterberg are about five kilometers away. The Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are about 20 minutes away by car.
