The gite is a 2 person cottage, made in an old barn. Rembrandt is located next to Gite Fleur, but they are NEVER rented together to ensure privacy and tranquility. Looking for a slightly larger cottage? Then look at our other cottage. At the rear of the gites is a large garden of approximately 800m2, where your outdoor life will take place. You overlook the farmlands and have access to a 5.5-meter lap pool with sun terrace and several terraces, including a beautiful deck attached to the gite, where you can relax. In your garden is also a small spa, with jacuzzi and infrared cabin that you may use. Use of the spa is not included in the price. Thus, everyone pays a fair price. New in 2025 is a high seat: a 3.5-meter high chair accessible by ladder that allows you to spot wildlife in the fields at night.
Nature and surroundings
The Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne covers a large part of our département l'Indre. This vast natural area with its many fishing ponds houses several attractions. There are many recreational lakes, also within reasonable distance of our place. In the summer there is plenty to do here, many brocantes, festivals and marchés de producteurs. Here you sit down at large tables to taste products from local businesses. Twice a year the crane migration comes over here. With great noise and large numbers, the cranes fly over and often rest in the Brenne on their way south. Even around our cottage we spot a lot of wildlife. Owls, wild boar, red deer, roe deer, foxes and beaver rats. The nights are pitch black, no light pollution. Our place is less suitable for people looking for entertainment close by every day: you need a car to get around.
