Space and Tranquility. From March it is enjoying the blossoms in the orchard. The cottage is located on a dead end dirt road, where the pheasant still walks by, the full moon is visible, the owl can be heard and the roses are still fragrant. A yard with a half-acre orchard with all kinds of fruits and nuts, great for a stroll. Happiness begins with a moment to yourself. Recharge yourself with peace. A complete cottage including kitchen equipped with everything you need. Note: This yard has compost/dry toilets. In the cozy living room you will find lovely chairs with ottoman next to the gas stove. A mini library and a table for eating, crafting, etc. From the living room you reach the (partly edible) garden with bench. The 1st floor is reached via a special staircase (not suitable for walking disabilities) where you will find the double bed. Bio/vegan breakfast can be booked at 13 euro pp. Come and experience this little paradise yourself, welcome.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in hamlet of Hattelaar. The yard has an orchard, greenhouse complex, two vegetable gardens and a flower/herb garden. The name was chosen because of a new development behind the yard, the small-scale cultivation of organic flowers, your stay contributes to this project. Hattelaar hamlet borders on nature reserve the Steendert, great for walking / cycling and where the mill, a ground sailor to admire. Ophemert lies on the Waal with its beautiful dike and floodplains. On the bulb at Veerhuis voor de Aarde in Varik you can take the ferry in the months of May to September and cross over to Heerewaarden. Visit the beautiful castle garden in Neerijnen or the Butterfly Garden in Tiel, which are lovingly cared for by volunteers. Buren and Zaltbommel are well worth a visit. Ophemert is surrounded by fruit and nut orchards, especially in spring known for its blossom routes. In the cottage is an information folder about the area.
