We rent our luxury vacation chalet with pleasure, it is located on a small vacation park in the middle of the woods of Vorden. You walk straight from the campsite into the forest. The campsite itself is very quiet, the chalet is located on a dead end street, so you have no interference from traffic. All facilities are available and to give you a real vacation feeling, the beds are made when you arrive. Towels and kitchen linen are also provided free of charge during your stay. The chalet is for those seeking peace and quiet but of course there is plenty to do in the area, there are mountain bike trails at the campsite and the beautiful towns of Vorden and Zutphen are worth visiting. For the children there is also plenty, the climbing forest in Ruurlo for example. Also castle Ruurlo with museum More is within cycling distance. In short, there is much to see and do around Vorden.
Nature and surroundings
The environment is quiet, the chalet is located in the middle of the woods, there are many hiking and cycling routes in this area, a must is also the castles route. All information for this is in the chalet, or you can visit the tourist office in the center of Vorden. Also within cycling distance you can find nature reserve Het Grote Veld. Furthermore, the towns of Vorden, Zutphen and Ruurlo are worth visiting. Also towards Lochem and Almen you can enjoy cycling and walking, this is also a beautiful wooded area. For young children there is in Ruurlo the gnome forest and at the campsite there is a playground where children can easily go by themselves from the chalet. In short, it is a beautiful part of the Achterhoek where you end up. And with a little luck you will see the squirrels jumping by from your armchair.
