Welcome to the Othe Forest in Burgundy! Our two major 4* houses, renovated in 2016 using the finest materials are ideal for those who love nature, comfort, open spaces, peace and quiet. What you'll find: fireplaces, large kitchens, games for adults and children, a library, a hamam, natural and contemporary decoration, 40 hectares of nature, meadows and private ponds for walks starting from the houses to observe the flora and fauna. Discover the ecological landscape (eco-pasture, permaculture vegetable garden, orchards, beehives, etc.) A combination of great comfort and an ecological approach to reduce the impact on the environment: waste limitation, cooperative electricity, natural water filtration, etc. Quality 4* bedding that can be made up into double or single beds on request. Additional services on request: organic and local cuisine, yoga classes, local wines tasting in our cellar, educational walks about plants and how to use them etc. * Final cleaning is included in the price

The houses are surrounded by nature: meadows inhabited in summer by horses and sheep in eco-pasture, ponds inhabited by ducks and amphibians, woods of oak, acacia, ash, chestnut, birch, spruce... home to a rich and diverse fauna. Routes are available on the 18 hectares of the estate and on the 22 hectares that we rent out to protect the many animals that live around us from hunting: roe deer, foxes, pheasants, badgers, rabbits, hares, wild ducks, squirrels, forest cats, etc. We have no neighbours, the nearest city is Villeneuve sur Yonne 5 kilometres away where you can find all commodities, food supplies and have a nice walk near the river.
