Looking for a unique, adventurous overnight stay in the middle of nature? Rent our cozy wooden raft, located in the quiet Kievitsbuurt neighborhood near the Loosdrechtse Plassen. Reach your own floating cottage by canoeing there yourself with the canoe we provide for you. It is not possible to sail the raft yourself, so we provide the canoes with it! What can you expect: A comfortable double bed. A simple kitchen to cook yourself with a breathtaking view. A (cold) outside shower for a refreshing start of the day. 12V power supply to charge your small appliances. A simple chemical toilet. It is possible to rent our Cobb bbq with it, it is not possible to bring your own bbq. Enjoy the tranquility, the rippling water and the beautiful surroundings. This is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle and just come to yourself. Children who can't swim are unfortunately not allowed to come to the Floaty.

Explore the Kievits neighborhood! With the included canoe, you can explore the beautiful Kievits neighborhood. This peaceful, natural setting is the perfect setting for a relaxing trip on the water. The Kievitsbuurt is a protected nature reserve where motorboats are not allowed in the southern part, creating a serene and quiet environment full of flora and fauna. An idyllic place for those looking for peace and adventure in nature! The narrow strips of land and vast lakes at Scheendijk and the Loosdrechtse Plassen are the result of centuries of peat extraction. Originally this area was a swampy peat landscape, reclaimed by farmers and monasteries in the Middle Ages. To extract as much peat as possible, narrow strips of peat were dug away, with the released peat being placed on adjacent strips to dry. The result was this beautiful area.
