With us, Holland and Mongolia come together for a unique stay experience. Saran, your host, is the only yurt host in the Netherlands who was born and raised in a yurt in the Mongolian countryside. She brings these authentic traditions to life with delicious, traditional dinners and fun cooking workshops where you discover Mongolian cuisine. Our guesthouse offers modern conveniences: a cozy living room with a 2-person box bed (usually children sleep here), a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and fold-out bed, and a bedroom with two single beds. The yurt has two single beds, a wood stove, comfortable beds, a kitchenette, a clean compost toilet and a refreshing outdoor shower. Outside, a fenced garden awaits for privacy and children's fun. Complete your stay with a traditional Mongolian breakfast or dinner. We live on the other side of the farm, so we'll be your nice neighbors during your stay!

Our location in peaceful Westerwolde offers a wonderful mix of nature and culture. Surrounded by serene landscapes and picturesque villages, it is the perfect place to unwind. Visit the fortified town of Bourtange or the medieval castle of Wedde, near our accommodation, and the Museum Klooster Ter Apel. In villages such as Sellingen, Onstwedde and Bellingwolde you can experience the rich history and nature. Stroll past monumental mansions in Bellingwolde, explore the greenery of Onstwedde and discover the beauty of the lakes in Sellingerveld. From Wedde you can follow the river Westerwoldse Aa by boat and enjoy the forests of the Wedderbergen. Here, in the heart of Westerwolde, you can really unwind and enjoy nature at its best.
