You will live in an old school that has been newly renovated. The accommodation offers 2 bedrooms, (room for 2-4-6 persons) see pictures, living and dining room as well as kitchen and bathroom. In the middle of the living unit is a robust stove, which gives you great warmth. The school is located in a small village, a bus connection to Trier; Idar-Oberstein; Birkenfeld; Neubrücke, is available. The sauna is not in the accommodation unit.
Nature and surroundings
Hattgenstein is located in Rhineland-Palatinate, near the Moselle and Vulkaneifel, only four hours from Rotterdam and two hours from South Limburg. Our vacation home is located at the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and is surrounded by agricultural land and beautiful forests. It is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, relax, hike or be active in other ways. Due to the vastness of the nature reserve, it is easy to observe wild animals (deer, foxes, red kites, falcons, buzzards, wild boars, etc.) The vacation apartment is located between the forests and several hiking trails, the so-called dream loops. - the Erbeskopf offers a toboggan run and a climbing park for big and small children - the jewelry town of Idar-Obersten with its museums and stores will invite you to stroll - in Hattgenstein the Rotenburghütte is recommended for the small hunger - in the vacation park 3 km away is an indoor playground - shopping is in Birgenfeld the Keis
