Nice little house on a quiet embankment. It is part of a house and it has a living/bedroom, a private kitchen and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. The kitchen has a small electric stove, a small fridge/freezer, a small dishwasher and a magentron. There is a private entrance accompanied by a very spacious garden with terraces/sitting areas where you can enjoy a nice view. There are almost no immediate neighbors. and it is an ideal place for cyclists and walkers.
Nature and surroundings
The property is located on the Berkmeer polder. A rural nature reserve with a wide view of as many as four windmills. It is the perfect place to make beautiful bike, motorcycle or car trips along the beautiful dikes, windmills and picturesque villages.The Berkmeer Polder is a beautiful, quiet place to enjoy nature. This area is a fantastic bird polder, where a hundred pairs of waders nest in the spring. A small mill provides a shallow pond during the meadow bird season that attracts many meadow birds. Transiters such as pintail, ruff and curlew are also regularly seen here. In the surrounding villages of Opmeer and Obdam there are several supermarkets, stores and eateries within a 10-minute drive. Within half an hour's drive there are several beaches, including Bergen aan Zee. It is a 20-minute drive to the port city of Hoorn on the IJsselmeer.
