This gite is located in our little hamlet of three houses and three barns at an altitude of 800 m, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises, surrounded by meadows and woods where cows graze. Our stone, wood and slate houses have been lovingly restored over the past 40 years. We've also put a lot of effort into the large flower garden, because we love gardens and have chosen plants suited to the mountains, an explosion of flowers in summer and a colorful autumn thanks to the many maples. The 70 m2 house comprises a large living room-kitchen with a large open fireplace, direct access to a terrace with garden furniture.A shower room with shower, washbasin and heated towel rail, and separate WC with washing machine. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 x 160 x 200 bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, 1 crib 1 bedroom with 2 x 0.90 x 1.90 beds, wardrobe, bedside tables.
Nature and surroundings
Our little hamlet lies on a sunny plateau overlooking the Garbet valley, 5 km from the village, and faces the majestic Mont Valier 2838 m, the emblematic peak of the Couserans. Our commitment to the environment means that the local flora and fauna can find refuge at Anilac. We have many birds nesting here, lizards basking in the sun, salamanders showing up after the rain, squirrels jumping from tree to tree, sometimes we can even see an eagle or two flying over Anilac, deer tend to show up in autumn, orchids proliferate in spring It's a haven of peace.
