Nature house in Moinho Do Torrão

Our house is located in a serene village called Moinho do Torrão. It is a simple, cozy home with around 100 square meters (not isolated) and includes a 50-square-meter patio, as well as a piece of land with four ancient olive trees over 50 years old and four orange trees, also more than 50 years old.You fell free to collect the oranges from the trees and make your own freh orange juice. The house has three bedrooms: two with double beds (13m2 +6.75m2) and a smaller, interior room with two single beds (6.75m2). There’s a cozy living room(7m2) with a wood-burning stove nestled in an old style fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and, of course, a bathroom. Outside, you’ll find a barbecue area along with outdoor tables and chairs. If you have children they can play around freely on the outside.If you have pets they can hang around freely as well.There is a small Aboove ground pool for the warmer days.

Although it is surrounded by a few neighboring homes the feeling is one of great tranquility. The village is envolved in unique peace with the silence occasionally broken by the distant sound of sheep bells in the fields or the singing of birds. This setting is perfect for anyone looking for a break from the daily routine and the comforts of a simple life close to nature. Nearby, there’s a stream, "Ribeira da Margem," where water flows year-round. The area also includes the PR4 hiking trail, known as the “Rota dos Moinhos da Ribeira de Margem,” a short route that crosses the Ribeira de Sor. Less than 15 minutes away by car is the Alamal river beach on the Tagus River. The only interruptions to the peaceful atmosphere are from the daily visits of the baker, who signals his arrival with a honk, and weekly visits from fruit and vegetable vendors.The village residents, few and familiar,hold the custom of greeting one another,In this peaceful village, life seems to move at its own pace.
