Near the border triangle, close to Germany and Belgium, lies De Kleine Heerlijkheid in Vijlen. This cottage is suitable for 2-4 persons and 2 small children. According to the many positive reactions from guests, it is one of the most special half-timbered houses in South Limburg. The cottage exudes atmosphere and coziness. It has 3 floors. On the bottom floor is a beautiful bedroom with a special appearance and a comfortable 2-person box spring. The living room is situated on the middle floor and offers a great view of the surrounding hills. This room has a wood stove that provides the necessary atmosphere. The kitchen is also located on the middle floor and is equipped with all the necessary conveniences that make your stay pleasant. Also here a magnificent view of the surrounding hills and forests of the Limburg Hill Country. On the top floor there are 2 smaller bedrooms, one of which has a double box spring and 2 children's beds.
Nature and surroundings
Within walking distance of the mountain village of Vijlen stands - at the beginning of a small hamlet - our cottage built into the hillside with a beautiful view of a very beautiful half-timbered farmhouse with authentic style features from the 17th century. From the cottage you can walk up the hill via a path and within minutes you are at the bakery selling delicious bread and treats. There is also a convenience store just down the road where you can buy beautiful local produce. A great place to get away from it all, surrounded by farmhouses, estates and vineyards. Maastricht and Aachen can be reached by car in a short time and are definitely worth a visit. In short, a great vacation accommodation that has now been qualified as very special by many guests.
