Come and discover this beautiful little paradise, located in beautiful Payroux in the beautiful countryside of Poitou-Charentes. Would you also like to wake up with only the sounds of nature in the background ? We are an "Adults Only " B&B so rest and relaxation is guaranteed. This former "Bergerie" has a rich past where art and living were central. The beautiful Mediterranean courtyard is a pleasant place to stay or relax around the large fire in the relaxation room. The chambres d'hôtes is a unique experience to spend your vacation. The house exudes romance and cosiness. This can also be found in all the rooms and bathrooms. We are a small-scale B&B completely focused on allowing our customers to enjoy our property in privacy and at their own pace. In the evening we serve delicious meals on our unique wood grill with the most delicious organic vegetables from our own garden. Breakfast ( €12 p.p.)
Nature and surroundings
Located in the middle of nature and without neighbors, the accommodation is situated on a property of 7 Ha. The river " Le Payroux " flows through our garden. We have several spots on the property where you can enjoy nature in all silence. Would you like to spot wildlife from one of our high seats ? Or at the beautiful large pond to spot the most beautiful birds ? Several hiking trails start from the property. Also for mountain bikers, motorcyclists this is a paradise to ride in the beautiful rolling countryside. On the beautiful river " The Vienne " you can go white water kayaking or fishing. Near our B&B you can visit several abbeys. Or would you like to taste the delicious Pineau De Charentes in one of the many distilleries in Cognac? There are several nice markets and Brocantes nearby. Around us you can visit the many towns such as : Confolens, Chauvigny, Montmorillon,Poitiers,Limoges...Or the historical site of Oradour-sur-Glane.
